H.E Lt. Gen. Dhahi Khalfan Tamim

H.E. Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan is the Deputy Chairman of Police and Public Security in Dubai. He began his career with Dubai Police as a police officer before rising to the position of Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs. He was named Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police in 1979. He was assigned as Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police the following year. He established the "Police Operations Room," which is regarded as one of the best operating rooms in the world, among his many professional accomplishments.

His Excellency is involved in community and volunteer work, having founded and led the Dubai Juvenile Awareness and Care Association. He is the Chairman of the Emirates Talent Association, the Dubai Award for Community Service, the Emirates Intellectual Property Association, and the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University Board of Trustees. He received numerous awards during his time with the Dubai Police, including the World Energy Award in the Environmental Award category from the World Energy Conference at the United Nations in New York in 2016, the "Golden Peacock International Award" for leadership excellence in public service for the year 2016, and the "Innovation in Security Solutions" award for his efforts in security.

H.E. Lt. Gen. Dhahi received the " Plato Golden Medal" from Aflatoun Child Social & Financial Education for supporting children's rights in the Middle East in 2015, as well as the "Biz Award for the World Business Federation" from the World Business Federation Organization in Houston, Texas. H.E. also got the award for the finest regional executive figure in the Middle East, as well as the United Nations Award for the most significant Arab character in the drug issues. Dhahi Khalfan was awarded numerous medals and badges, including the Dubai Police Sincere Service and Excellent Service Medals (three times each), as well as the Dubai Police First-Class Medal (five times).
