This book is authored by Lt. Gen Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, where H.E focused on 110 exceptional leadership qualities of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, (May Allah have mercy on him).
His Excellency mentioned the elements of the state's establishment on which Sheikh Zayed relied prior to the union, which enabled him to establish a strong state, the most important of which are Abu Dhabi's location and size, population, and economic strength, emphasizing Sheikh Zayed's role in consolidating national identity and the basic principles on which it was founded: land, destiny, language, religion, and civilization. The history, culture, and aspirations of Zayed, as well as the concepts, beliefs, and principles he implemented.
This book features many of Sheikh Zayed's leadership qualities and unique approaches in the service of his homeland and people.
Mr. Jamal Bin Huwaireb, an Emirati historian, writer, and Cultural Advisor to the Government of Dubai, said in his introduction to the book: "Dear reader, we have in our hands a very unique book, the author of which is well recognized and famous of his great achievements at his security field, in which he has worked since his youth. He was fond of documenting, writing, and poetry, and he is an excellent reader who continues to seek information, despite the fact that he is busy in his duty. I feel proud to say that he was the commander of the distinguished Dubai Police for about forty years, and he was the world's youngest police commander when he was appointed, and he still bears her burdens as its Deputy Chairman, His Excellency the Lieutenant-General Dhahi Khalfan.

This book was issued after the death of the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, May Allah rest his soul, on October 7, 1990. As Lt. Gen. Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai directed the collection of all poems and poetic and prose elegies launched by poets for the deceased in the country, and published in local newspapers and magazines, to be gathered in an elegant book of 360 pages, with a very touching poetic poem by H.E Dhahi, entitled "You quaked my heart on the day of your departure."

Dubai occupies a unique and distinguished place in her son's life, having been associated with all of her desires, progress and spread, civilization, beauty, and brilliance.
The book then penetrates the world of the police in the third chapter, before moving from love and knowledge to the world of the Cooperation Council in the fifth and sixth chapters, extending to economic laughter and tears and administrative challenges, thus integrating worry and insomnia with the paper of words in the book.

The book, titled "Rashid's Journey into Building and Development", written by Lt. Gen. Dhahi khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai, which initially released in 1990, contained 19 chapters that covered all areas of life in Dubai during the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum's reign. The book contains 263 pages of luxurious print and includes sayings about him and the Emirate of Dubai, as well as a number of poems and dozens of historical images.
