Juvenile Care General Assembly 32 Discusses Financial and Administrative Reports and Approves the General Budget for the Current Year 2025
The Juvenile Awareness and Care Association held its 32nd Ordinary General Assembly meeting at the Dubai Police Officers Club, chaired by His Excellency Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai, Chairman of the Association's Board of Directors, and attended by the Association's Board of Directors members.
The meeting discussed the association's achievements in 2024, including programs promoting family cohesion and community awareness, the financial and administrative report, approving the general budget for the new year, and selecting the auditor.
The meeting of the association was attended by His Excellency Sultan Saqr Al Suwaidi, Vice President of the Association, His Excellency Mirza Al Sayegh, Dr. Mohammed Murad Abdullah, Secretary General, Dr. Mansour Al Awar, Treasurer, Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Badriya Al Yasi, Hiam Al Hammadi, Mariam Al Ahmadi, and the rest of the Board of Directors, committee heads, and members of the association.
In his speech during the meeting, His Excellency Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim highlighted the association's role in protecting youth and promoting Emirati values, stating that social and awareness work is a national responsibility. His Excellency also emphasized the significance of declaring this year's slogan "The Year of the Community" under the leadership of President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, reflecting the wise leadership's vision of strengthening family and community ties and consolidating values of solidarity and cohesion among society members.
His Excellency Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim emphasized the importance of Emirati values, emphasizing the need to strengthen social cohesion, consolidate cooperation, and encourage effective participation in social and voluntary work. His Excellency identified a set of values to focus on and prepare awareness campaigns for all segments of society, including honesty, respect, tolerance, cooperation, justice, fairness, mercy, loyalty, responsibility, humility, honesty, and honoring parents. These values are essential for promoting a harmonious society.
His Excellency added: "We are proud that the association, which was established 32 years ago, aims to promote family cohesion and positive communication among society members. Its goals are to build an aware generation capable of facing challenges with confidence and responsibility. The association will continue its journey to serve the community, enhance awareness, and contribute to achieving the vision of wise leadership in building a more cohesive and secure society.
His Excellency expressed pride in the association's Gold Category Award in the "Ithra" program, which was launched by the Community Development Authority in Dubai. His Excellency praised the association's efforts in implementing targeted initiatives and programs, aligning with the state's vision to enhance community cohesion. He thanked all supporting entities, including government and private institutions, volunteers, and the media, for their contributions to the association's goals.
