Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan chairs Ramadan session for talents, titled "Talents Blossoming Under Parents"
His Excellency Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai and Chairman of the Emirates Talent Association, Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, presided over a Ramadan discussion session called "Talents Blossoming Under Parents: A Journey to Discover and Nurture Our Talented Children." A group of officials, activists, and talent care experts attended the discussion, which was hosted at His Excellency's Majlis.
His Excellency welcomed everyone and commended their tremendous efforts to enhance the meeting by contributing their knowledge, perspectives, and experiences in fostering and developing talent in their specialized domains.
The session was attended by His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Library Foundation, who offered insightful information on contemporary techniques for identifying brilliance. He highlighted the importance of educational and cultural establishments in helping talented students thrive from a young age and pointing them in the proper direction for success and originality.
His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), also participated. He stressed the significance of proactive planning in identifying people, developing skills, and guiding them in the proper direction. This will help to create an innovative generation that meets the goals of our enlightened leadership.
The session exchanged ideas and insights on how to support talent, as well as reviewed the most recent initiatives that contribute to stimulating creativity and developing capabilities, in line with the goals of the UAE's "Year of Community," which was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman Al Muaini, Assistant Undersecretary for the Intellectual Property Sector at the Ministry of Economy, discussed the ministry's efforts to support talent in the country. These programs seek to encourage an environment of innovation while protecting intellectual property rights, ensuring continuous creativity and quality.
Dr. Khalifa Ali Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences, highlighted the Foundation's role in talent development, focusing on improving the scientific and technological skills of outstanding students. Ahmed Majan, Chairman of the Emirates Inventors Association, discussed the organization's goals and role in supporting talented individuals and inventors by providing an appropriate environment for idea development and sustainable development.
Dr. Saif Rashid Al Jabri, board member of the Emirates Talent Association, spoke about the importance of family and marital stability and its direct impact on children's intelligence and talent development, emphasizing that a supportive family environment is critical in enhancing children's abilities and motivating them to be creative.
Dr. Shafi Al Neyadi, a board member of the Emirates Talent Association, also discussed the role of parents in developing and nurturing their children's talents, emphasizing that early attention to talents, as well as psychological and educational support, helps children develop their creative skills.
At the end of the session, participants underlined the importance of educational institutions and parents in identifying their children's abilities early on and developing and nurturing their skills, which adds to excellence and creativity.
The session was moderated by Saif Mohammed Al Mansouri, Director of the Strategic Planning Branch at the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security.
